Summer, summer, summertime! Introducing Antsy Nancy Summer Camp 2022

Maybe not the most apropos time to quote a Will Smith song, but unequivocally the right time to introduce Antsy Nancy’s 2022 Summer Camps!

If your kids are in Catalina Foothills School District like mine, as I type, there are only 51 days until summer vacation. I was holding my breath from August through February – waiting to learn they’d have to go back to remote learning. Now, I’m busy organizing vacations and summer camp plans. Hallelujah!

Is your kiddo a crafter, a gardener, a baker, or a fashion maker? Or interested in becoming one? Antsy Nancy makes summer camp planning easy with a boutique destination, tailor-made for your kiddo. Each week of camp has a focus theme and regardless of skill level, each camper will have ample opportunity to be challenged and complete successful projects each day.

Baking Week: June 6-10 and July 11-15

Does your kiddo love to help you in the kitchen? Are they obsessed with Cupcake Wars or the Great British Baking Show? Antsy Nancy’s Baking Week is ideal for mini baking novices and experts alike. No matter their skill level, they will achieve master chef results and have a wonderful time learning new skills. As a bonus: they won’t even realize all the math and science they are practicing by focusing on precise measurements and working with fractions!

Gardening Week: June 13-17 and July 18-22

Calling all green thumbs, tree huggers, nature lovers, and fairy Princesses! Our week will be fact and action packed. With tutorials from UA master gardener and projects focused on the mystical and magical, we’ll inspire both the academic and the dreamer in your child this week.

Arts & Crafts Week: June 20-24 and July 25-29

Are you ready for some Pin-worthy fun! We’re going to kick the week off with what we’re calling “Paper Palooza” because we’re going to let you decide what to make! Paper purses, notebooks, greeting cards, scrap books, journals … they’re all so cute and fun to make. Next we’re going to let you try your candle making skills, adding color, scents and the perfect crystal before moving into jewelry making. And not beaded friendship bracelets – we’re making earrings and multi-chain necklaces. Next, we’ll do some canvas painting with stencils and end the week creating a custom embroidered slumber party bag filled with everything you need to crash at your besties and wake up looking your best!

Health, Wellness, and Beauty Week: June 27-July 1 and August 1-August 5

Bring on the fashionistas! This week is all about style—hair, nails, fashion, skin care and beauty products, and age-appropriate makeup. Licensed instructors and recent high school grad counselors will work with campers to create stress-free routines and confident looks for the new school year.

Camp is 9am-12pm with an optional lunch and game hour from 12pm-1pm. Every Monday, campers will tie dye their complimentary camp t-shirt. For repeat campers, they can opt for a 2nd shirt or a new special project. Antsy Nancy Summer Camp is ideal for ages 6-14, but each child is different and has different experience levels and needs. Please contact us with questions or concerns. [email protected] and (520) 639-6458
