Antsy Nancy is Expanding

The word is out that Antsy Nancy is a top destination for cooking, baking, and cake decorating classes, arts and crafts, holiday projects, and beauty, health and wellness instruction. Google “best cooking classes in Tucson” or “best baking classes in Tucson,” and Antsy Nancy is one of the first listings to pop up.

Antsy Nancy’s diverse array of in-person classes, open to the public, include Wine and Book Club, Summer Camps for Kids, Cake Decorating, Artisanal Pizza Making, Perfume Making, and Luau event planning – and that’s all in the next six weeks.

The team is currently taking bookings into 2023 for teambuilding events, birthday parties, and on-going, monthly classes at Tucson Medical Center, Heritage Highlands, The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, Sunflower Community, and Catalina Foothills School District.

Heidi Yribar, Founder & CEO, is thrilled by the response Tucson has shown Antsy Nancy. “We opened the doors on October 1, 2021 with zero booked business and a contact database limited to friends and family, said Yribar. Financially, I’m ready to open the second Tucson location and I need the right staff in place to enable significant growth.”

Yribar needs to hire part-time instructors and part-time assistant instructors to support existing business, with opportunity for growth into leadership positions. “There is no shortage of competent, ambitious, and highly qualified individuals in Tucson. I’m confident I will find the right people to represent my brand and I am huge proponent of rewarding excellence,” said Yribar.

In addition, Antsy Nancy is in need of an experienced baker, on a contract basis, to support upcoming cake, cookie, and cupcake decorating classes.

Part-Time Instructor

• Home Decorating

You will help prepare lesson plans and presentations for classes, source products and materials, support the executive team with business strategy and long-term schedule planning, continuously promote and brand Antsy Nancy classes, and work with customers to plan and host private parties and events.

This is a great part-time opportunity for those who want to work hard, enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and have fun!

YOU MUST:
– Be outgoing, personable, have GREAT communication and customer service skills.
– Be available for daytime classes, as well as some Saturdays and evenings.
– Be proficient with posting, tagging, sharing, and responding on multiple social media channels.
– Have a valid driver’s license.

BONUS:
– If you have work experience, certification, and licenses in one or more of the above categories. For example: teaching degree, culinary training, landscaper/gardener, event planner, interior decorator, etc.

YOU MUST:

– Be available for evening classes and events, as well as some Saturday and daytime classes during school holidays.

– Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
