We’re thrilled to introduce a talented new instructor to the Antsy Nancy family: Michelle Ware, the sugar artist and baker behind The Bougie Baker.
Michelle brings a love of baking, creativity, and beautifully decorated cookies to our studio, and we’re kicking off this exciting collaboration with four irresistible cookie-decorating experiences designed to take you from cozy fall afternoons all the way into the holiday season.
If you’ve ever looked at beautifully decorated sugar cookies and thought, “I could never make those!”—Michelle is here to prove you wrong.
Meet The Bougie Baker
Michelle opened The Bougie Baker in 2018 with a passion for creating custom sugar art that makes celebrations feel extra special. Today, she creates handcrafted custom cookies, gourmet cookies, mini cookie trays and other sweet treats from her bakery in Vail, Arizona.
But Michelle’s talent isn’t just about making beautiful cookies. It’s about teaching others how to create them, too.
That’s exactly what makes this collaboration such a perfect fit for Antsy Nancy.

Six Sweet Reasons to Join Us This Fall & Holiday Season
Michelle’s first Antsy Nancy classes will take students through the fundamentals of royal icing while creating six beautifully decorated cookies in each class.
You’ll learn techniques including outlining, flooding, wet-on-wet decorating, layering, piping and creating texture and dimension. And don’t worry if you’ve never decorated a cookie before—these classes are designed for all skill levels, including beginners.

One of the things we love most about Michelle’s classes is that you don’t need to be a professional baker—or even an experienced cookie decorator—to have a great time.
Antsy Nancy provides the tools and materials, Michelle provides the instruction and inspiration, and you get to bring your own creativity.
Every class is hands-on, and you’ll take home the cookies you decorate along with recipes and new techniques you can use again and again.
And for our guests age 21 and over, these classes are BYOB, so you’re welcome to bring your favorite wine, champagne or beer to enjoy while you decorate.
