Cake Decorating: Candy Corn Cake

This adorable Candy Corn Cake is the first in our Cake Decorating Series and the master level skill we’ll focus on is using the ombre effect when decorating cakes. The finished product is a clear reminder that Halloween is on its way!

PLEASE NOTE: This class qualifies as a Parent & Child Class, which enables 1 parent/child duo to attend class and complete 1 project, while paying 1 class fee. If both parent and child want to complete their own project, 2 registrations must be made.

What you will learn:

Students will learn baking tips, best frosting and buttercream recipes, proper techniques for leveling and crumb coating layer cakes, tinting and coloring with gels, and other decorating skills.

What to expect:

Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the hand washing station. Tools and materials will be distributed and demonstration provided along with hands-on class. Recipes will be given to students to take home, along with the cake they decorated in class!
