Join us for our monthly lunch & learn, where attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch, while learning how to prepare our lunch entrée by watching a live chef demonstration.
Our first lunch & learn will feature the award-winning grilled cheese sandwich made by at-home chef, Andy Voraphat, who prepared a Korean spin on an American classic. His delicious grilled cheese featured kimchi and cheesy corn – a combination Foodies will love! Andy competed in the first ever Tucson Foodie Amateur cooking contest at Iron Chef Tucson on Saturday, July 22 and took home the first Golden Spatula award!
Attendees of the Lunch & Learn will be served their choice of iced tea, lemonade, or ice water, upon arrival, along with a starter of BBQ Vegetables. The grilled cheese will be served with a side dish of ramen noodles and dessert will be Antsy Nancy’s Pink Champagne cupcakes – a huge hit at the 2023 Tucson Iron Chef event!
Students will learn how to create a lunch entree by watching chef demonstration. Starter and dessert will be prepared prior to class, but recipes will be provided for entire meal enjoyed.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the handwashing station. Students will be seated classroom style, and given seating request preference, when available.
