This cake is a pretty package that tastes as good as it looks! Students will learn decorate with confidence in this cake decorating class, first learning how to make and color homemade fondant they’ll use in class. You’ll fill, frost, and decorate a perfectly balanced 2-layer cake before learning best practice techniques for covering a cake with a smooth layer of fondant and additional fondant decorations.
Students will learn baking tips, best frosting and buttercream recipes, proper techniques for leveling and crumb coating layer cakes, tinting and coloring with gels, and piping technique for perfect rosettes.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the hand washing station. Tools and materials will be distributed and demonstration provided along with hands-on class. Recipes will be given to students to take home, along with the cake they decorated in class.
