Event Location:

As a parent, how often have you heard the question, “What’s for dinner?”

Antsy Nancy has partnered with Dream Dinners to not only eliminate this question one day each week but to empower your child with the skills to create nutritious meals made from quality ingredients. That’s truly the mission of both companies.

At Antsy Nancy, our goal is to provide “how to” skills for home, health, and happiness and Dream Dinners is dedicated to bringing you and your family food that is simple, honest and delicious. The owners of both companies are working moms, and both know the hardest night of the week to put dinner on the table is Monday night. Students from pre-school through high school can sign-up for our Kids Cooking Club.

Each Monday, students will prepare a meal that they may customize – eliminating items they don’t like, or adding additional spices they love. We have a 4-week Class Fee or 1-week Class Fee (pick and choose) and a materials fee for the number of meals to create for your family.

4-Week Cooking Club Menu:

Monday, February 3: Mexico

Mini Beef Tostada Cups and Churros Dessert with Chocolate Ganache

Oven-baked crispy flour tortillas topped with cheese, beans, seasoned ground beef, and a drizzle of lime crema.

Monday, February 10: Italy

Firehouse 3-cheese pasta with Meatballs and Garlic Cheesy Bread Side

Penne pasta tossed in marinara sauce with meatballs and ricotta cheese.

Monday, February 17: China

Cashew Chicken with Noodles and Chinese Dumplings Appetizer with Dipping Sauce

Tender pieces of chicken sautéed in an Asian-flavored sauce with crunchy cashews and tossed with noodles.

Monday, February 24: Greece

Grilled Chicken Caesar Sandwiches with Side of Cut Vegetables and Homemade Hummus

Marinated chicken breasts on brioche buns, topped with a creamy Caesar spread blended with Parmesan cheese.

NOTES:

  • Students may be dropped off as early as 3:30pm and enjoy snacks from home, while they study or play games quietly with friends.
  • 1 Materials Fee is for 1 Meal ($15) x 4 Weeks, for a total of 4 Meals ($60). If student is to prepare meal for family of 4 (for example), 4 Materials Fee should be selected, which would provide a total of 16 meals over the course of the Cooking Club for a total Materials Fee cost of $240.
  • Cooking Club requires a minimum of 6 student registrations by January 27, 2025 to move forward as scheduled. We will advise by that date if minimum has not been met, and all Class and Materials Fee will be reimbursed.
