Let them eat cake! But first, they must learn to bake, level, crumb coat, and decorate it. In this class, we will learn cake decorating basics and work with multiple cake tips to learn piping techniques. We will also work with buttercream frosting, chocolate ganache, candy melts, and fondant. Monday-Wednesday, the students will practice their skills on cupcakes. Then, on Thursday, they will design on paper what they want their cake to look like and bake their cake. On Friday, students will complete their masterpieces with the skills they learned throughout the week.
Monday: Piping Class w/Cupcakes
Tuesday: Piping Flowers and Tinting
Wednesday: Fun with Fondant
Thursday: Cake Design/Baking
Friday: Masterpiece Cake
Camp is 9am-12pm with an optional lunch and game hour from 12pm-1pm. Every Monday, campers will customize an apron to use during camp, that they will take home at the end of the week. Please contact us with questions or concerns.

Students will learn cake decorating basics and work with multiple cake tips to learn piping techniques. We will learn various baking tools and equipment, and the requirement for precise measurement in baking. Kitchen safety and clean-up will be #1 and #2 priorities, at all times.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the handwashing station. Most baking activities will take majority of the 9am-12pm timeframe. If students complete projects early, we will do arts and crafts, or play games. Students will bring home a pastry box each day with their goodies to share with family. PLEASE NOTE: Students must follow Antsy Nancy safety rules and demonstrate appropriate behavior and respect at all times, to instructors and other students. If they are unable to do so, emergency contact will be asked to pick student up immediately. Student will not be permitted to stay and camp registration fees will not be refunded.
