Using clay, molds, and paint techniques, plastic pots are transformed to look like antiques in under 2 hours. Each student receives a plastic planter, already sprayed with primer paint. Student will learn how to create designs using modeling clay and molds, affixing with glue, before painting with two unique techniques to achieve a rustic, antique look. Students will plant colorful vinca flowers and potato vine, creating a pretty aesthetic in their stunning new planter.

What to expect
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the hand washing station. Refreshments will be self-served prior to settling into a thoroughly cleaned and sanitized workspace. Class will begin with a brief presentation; providing overview, background information, project relevance, and sample uses. Tools and materials will be distributed before instructor takes the class step-by-step through process. Each student will take home a completed, transformed planter of their design.
