How to Throw a Backyard Luau 081822

Aloha! We can’t offer an ocean breeze or a sandy beach, but the the spirit of the islands will be in abundance at Antsy Nancy’s luau! We invite you to  to join us to say “Aloha” to summer and “Aloha and Mahalo” to Assistant Instructor, Paris, before she heads to college in Flagstaff. We’ll demonstrate how to make a flower lei, smoke Kalua pork, create tropical flower fruit kabobs, and how make delicious Hawaiian cocktails, (like Blue Hawaii and Mai Tai), before enjoying a traditional luau feast. Attendees are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts and hula skirts!

What you will learn

Attendees will learn the process and recipe for smoking kalua pork, as well as the recipes and techniques for making flower leis, Mac salad, Mai Tai, Blue Hawaii, tropical fruit kabobs, and pineapple upside down cake.
