Create an attractive indoor herb garden with chef favorite herbs; basil, rosemary, and parsley. At-home chefs will enjoy the distinct flavor enhancement of cooking with fresh herbs.
Students will learn how to plant and care for their live herbs and how to dry and store herbs for long-term use.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the handwashing station. Refreshments will be self-served prior to settling into a thoroughly cleaned and sanitized workspace. Class will begin with a brief presentation; providing overview, background information, project relevance, and sample uses. Each student will receive planter, rock for drainage, soil, fertilizer, and live herbs delivered fresh from Bonnie Plants the week of class. Moss and chalkboard plant markers are provided and will elevate the look of your garden.
