Volunteer to bring the pies to Thanksgiving dinner this year and you will wow your family and friends with these beautiful pies that taste even better than they look.
The key to a delicious pie is the crust and making this easy, buttery, flaky, crust recipe is the first step we'll master. Next we'll learn tricks to roll out pie pastry and how to cut and shape to make beautiful designs. We will make an Apple Pie using a lattice technique and a Maple Pumpkin Pie with Fall leaf accents.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the hand washing station. Tools and materials will be distributed and demonstration provided along with hands-on class. Recipes will be given to students to take home, along with the pies they make in class.
