Antsy Nancy
The term “artisan” describes a person with extensive experience and a special gift with their craft. When the word is applied to food, it means it’s prepared using more traditional methods and the highest quality ingredients. An artisan pizza can have basic, traditional toppings or something more creative, but it’s the freshness and quality of the ingredients that make a pizza truly artisan. In this Antsy Nancy class, you’ll not only stretch your own dough, you’ll stretch your imagination! We’ll provide a multitude of fresh, delicious, and locally sourced meats, herbs, and vegetables to customize your own artisan pizza.
An optional, complimentary glass of wine will be paired and served with dinner for students 21 and over. Students are welcome to bring their own wine, champagne, beer, etc. to enjoy during class. Please see our BYOB policy for more details.
Attendees will learn the process and recipe for making perfect pizza dough, as well as the ingredients, and sauces to create several artisanal pizza options and the best way to bake pizzas at home.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the handwashing station. Students will be seated in a thoroughly cleaned and sanitized workspace and given seating request preference, when available. Tools and materials will be distributed before instructor takes the class step-by-step through the successful recipe execution.
