About The Events
A holiday tea is a wonderful way to teach YOUR American girl (or boy) party etiquette and manners, while making a special holiday memory. Guests and dolls are encouraged to wear their festive holiday attire.
Event Timelines
What you will learn
Students will learn party tips for hosting a proper tea; how to brew and serve loose tea, table setting, napkin folding, table manners, party etiquette, and recommended menus for morning or afternoon teas.
What to expect
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the handwashing station. Guests and dolls will be seated for tea (and cocoa) and served an assortment of delicious treats while we review the presentation. Dolls will sit alongside the child in a custom booster. If a loaner American Girl doll is needed, please make a request. After tea, each student will have time to decorate a tray of sugar cookies to bring home. Recipes will be provided.
