Oprah Winfrey, a longtime proponent of vision boards, said, “Create the highest, grandest vision for your life because you become what you believe.” A well crafted vision board is more than a visual depiction of your New Year resolutions, it’s a visual reminder of the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-Sensitive) goals you have for every area of your life; career/school, family, hobbies, finance, and health/fitness. At Antsy Nancy, we’ve ensured your finished product will look good hanging in your home or office, because for a Vision board to work, you need to see it.
Our class includes a 1 hour workshop with 2 hours available for vision board execution. Students are invited to order dinner from Jimmy’s Pizza to enjoy while crafting their vision boards.
Students will be given worksheets to complete that will help in creating SMART goals for each area of their life. For example, if your goal is to save more money in 2022, a SMART goal would be to auto transfer $50 per paycheck to an E-Trade account.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the handwashing station. Students will work through personal goal setting worksheets before designing their framed vision board, using our supply of crafting materials, magazine images, and motivational images and phrases.
