Antsy Nancy
Celebrate Fat Tuesday with an Antsy Nancy cooking class – Creole style! Jambalaya is a popular rice, meat, and vegetable dish enjoyed in the Southeast United States, especially Louisiana. Jambalaya is a fantastic family dish for several reasons; it is inexpensive, delicious, and can be altered to include whatever ingredients the chef has on hand.
Cooking Class Menu:
Students 21+ years are welcome to bring their own wine, champagne, beer, etc. to enjoy during class. Please see our BYOB policy for more details.
We will learn a tried and true recipe for royal icing and how to get the perfect consistency for outlining, flooding, wet on wet techniques, and even stenciling! Students will decorate 6 heart-shaped cookies.
Upon check-in, students are provided aprons and storage for personal items before visiting the hand washing station. Tools and materials will be distributed and demonstration provided along with hands-on class. Recipes will be given to students to take home, along with the cookies they decorate in class.
